I presume you mean the catch to keep the door open. There is certainly one on my Maxus!!

There should be one I thought....the handbook doesn't mention it, but I certainly don't have one.

It is right at the bottom and is riveted together. The rivet came loose on mine and I had to re-rivet it with some meaty rivets from my boating days which I think may be stainless steel. They certainly take some squeezing! If you need a pic let me know.

Hmmmmm....mine does have this bit but it has a further plate covering it up which is probably why I didn't spot its function.
That said it is no use whatsoever.
With an SLD the size of a football pich you need a proper catch.....there is a project! _________________ Maxus - Proud to buy British |
